  8. It is hokum.

  10. Spiritual thumb-sucking.

  12. I have encountered many marvellous things recently both at first
  13. hand and through highly reliable percipients. But I have only seen
  14. evidence of extraordinary technology and highly exotic entities.
  15. I have seen no evidence the world at large is either about to end
  16. or that saints/aliens are going to come and take The Chosen Ones
  17. away with angels/ufos to heaven/the stars because they follow the
  18. cross/triangle and have been praying/meditating.
  19.  
  20. I am sure that the prophets/channels are sincere. If I had any
  21. criticism it is that they and their followers have failed to do
  22. their homework and the result can only mean (as always) a lot of
  23. disappointment for the true believers and no end of wasted
  24. bandwidth for the rest of us. And perhaps the human-instigated
  25. destruction of all life on this planet.
  26.  
  27. Think of it! The odds against the new belief systems being "true"
  28. are astronomical since they correspond so closely - when you strip
  29. away the trappings - with the old cults.
  30.  
  31. The messages are consistent: High-sounding, elaborate, intelligent,
  32. loving and tantalizing. They are also manifestly absurd, mutually
  33. contradictory and peppered with warnings of imminent doom.
  34.  
  35. I have already explained what is really going on: there are ancient
  36. disinformational entities set there to confuse and befuddle humankind
  37. so we do not become too clever and seek independence for our home
  38. planet. The heavenly ones are the bad guys, our own earthly entities
  39. are our creators and the survivors are still doing good works without
  40. fanfare even as we continue to destroy their habitat.

  42. Channel babble was well understood in wiser times. The spiritual
  43. disinformation systems were described by the Ionian Greeks back
  44. before 800 BC. This should be taught in every school. It is time
  45. people were warned.
  46.  
  47. When we were little toddlers it was wonderful to have someone big
  48. and strong and loving who would come along and take us by the hand
  49. and protect us from the big nasty world by taking us home. But
  50. then we grew up. Let us keep growing.
  51.  
  52. Remember, all that glitters is not gold!

  54. The new age teachings fit over the old pyschic scars too perfectly.
  55. The new priesthood has box numbers and christ consciousness <TM> costs
  56. only a few dollars. For hardly any money there is a wide range of
  57. wonderfully spiritual books and videos and tapes prepared by dedicated
  58. people who are directly in touch with friendly aliens. Not.
  59.  
  60. It is compelling listening for new chums to spirituality, especially
  61. for those who received the standard "Good" upbringing and had their
  62. minds crippled by a bible-shaped straight jacket when they were
  63. too little to think for themselves.
  64.  
  65. The bad spirits are very versatile and totally amoral. That is what
  66. sets them apart from the real manifestations of good and friendly gods.
  67. The sky god systems play upon our insecurities and there are plenty of
  68. otherwise intelligent adults who have been sucked right in.
  69.  
  70. The evil spirits did then what they do now. They can also manifest
  71. in solid form to seek to mischievously direct the course of human
  72. history. They can appear in any shape: as a respected god or saint,
  73. as a demon or a humanoid, as a chariot or as a saucer-shaped space-
  74. craft, as a dragon or as a tree.
  75.  
  76. Quality does not always thrust itself upon us.
  77.  
  78. The good entities are well worth the effort of interaction. It
  79. is a sign that they are genuine that they will not promise
  80. salvation nor tell any other cruel lies.       ~~~

  82. People who are genuinely gifted with telepathy would do well to go
  83. and seek out the more modest and gifted beings that live in places
  84. of man-made and natural beauty. They will not thrust themselves upon
  85. us unless there is a mutual need and opportuniy. Yet if we seek them
  86. in humility and dignity and without presumption we'll get better
  87. value. And expect the unexpected, the real ones will not fit our
  88. expectations, it is we who must radically adapt.

  90. Avoid the intermediaries. If someone is trying to make a buck out
  91. of it, deal with them the way Martin Luther did: don't subscribe.
  92. Giving handouts to other humans will not get you to heaven.
  93.  
  94. Honest seekers who live long and seek assiduously and mind their
  95. karma might indeed one day directly experience marvellous things.
  96. But the life-after-death systems were damaged after Troy and will
  97. require technology beyond ours to repair - and that is unlikely to
  98. happen in our lifetimes. Alas. It could have been done, but the
  99. Powers on Earth were more interested in developing new ways to
  100. mutilate and kill all forms of life.
  101.  
  102. It was only natural that the crippling of the world was achieved
  103. by the exploitation of misguided religious people who have an
  104. End-Of-The-World fixation, for the fingers that hover over
  105. the armegaddon buttons fondle bibles on sundays.
  106.  
  107. The entities with which I have had dealings can affirm this. Nothing
  108. is about to happen and belief in nonsense will not help as nothing
  109. ever comes of nothing. This old world will keep on turning with its
  110. state of the art life support systems and it is up to us to look
  111. after it properly and we cannot do that with our eyes fixed
  112. hopelessly and helplessly upon the skies.
